1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They are used to make the website function correctly, to remember your preferences, and to collect analytical information.
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies espres.app uses, their purpose, and how you can control them.
2. First-Party Cookies
sb-access-token and sb-refresh-token — authentication session cookies issued by Supabase Auth. They are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. Duration: the access token lasts 1 hour; the refresh token lasts up to 1 week (renewable). Category: essential.
locale — language preference cookie. Stores the selected language code (e.g., "es" or "en"). Duration: 1 year. Category: functional.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Google Maps (maps.googleapis.com) — pages that display route maps or customer geocoding load the Google Maps library, which may set Google's own tracking and analytics cookies. Category: functional / analytical. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Stripe (checkout.stripe.com) — when you proceed to payment, we redirect you to a page hosted by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies (e.g., __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) on its own domain (checkout.stripe.com), not on espres.app. Category: necessary for payments. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
4. Cookies Not Used
Espres does not use behavioral advertising cookies, social media cookies, or third-party analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel in the main application.
The marketing site (espres.app) may use basic page performance analytics tools. This policy will be updated when such tools are incorporated.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can configure your browser to reject or delete cookies. Most browsers offer controls in their settings menu (Settings › Privacy and Security › Cookies). Please note that blocking essential authentication cookies will prevent the service from functioning.
For Google's third-party cookies, you can use the Google Privacy Checkup available at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy. For Stripe cookies, see the instructions at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Changes to This Policy
Espres may update this Cookie Policy when new technologies or third-party services are incorporated. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the platform or by email, with at least fifteen (15) days' advance notice.
The date of the most recent update is indicated in the header of this document.
